Terms of Use
This page is a translation of the Japanese original. If there is any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
Effective Date and Scope
Effective date: May 23, 2026 (revised September 19, 2026) These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the online service “Boardroom” (formerly AI Staff Room) provided by its operator. By using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, the AI Output Disclaimer, and the disclosure under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
Service Description
Boardroom is a cloud-based analysis service that uses AI to generate organized plans, adoption routes, execution tasks, evidence cards, detailed designs where needed, roadmaps, failure patterns, market size, competitors, pricing strategies, and other outputs based on the business ideas, assumptions, profile information, and additional messages entered by the user. The service assists the user’s decision-making. It does not guarantee specific sales, adoption, investment, legal effects, tax results, administrative permits or approvals, fundraising, or business success.
Account Management
The user is responsible for managing the registered email address, password, login status, and devices. If unauthorized use by a third party is suspected, promptly contact the operator. If there is abuse of multiple accounts by the same user, payment fraud, registration by impersonating a third party, or security-risky use, the operator may suspend use, stop purchases, preserve data, investigate, or report the matter to the relevant authorities.
Handling of Input Information
The user represents that they have the necessary rights, permissions, and authority to provide information to the service. Do not enter a third party’s trade secrets, personal information, confidential information, copyrighted works, or information whose entry is prohibited by contract without the necessary authority. The service may send input to external AI analysis services for analysis. Do not enter sensitive information unnecessary for analysis, such as personal identification numbers, health information, financial account information, authentication information, passwords, private keys, or material nonpublic information.
Nature of AI Outputs
AI outputs may contain errors, outdated information, speculation, omissions, overgeneralizations, or bias. On-screen labels such as “verified,” “speculation,” “unverified,” and “human review required” assist with review and do not guarantee the truth or completeness of the content. For professional judgments concerning legal matters, taxes, investment, medicine, administrative procedures, personal data protection, employment, finance, permits and approvals, or contract terms, always obtain confirmation from a qualified professional or public authority.
Paid Services and Payments
For a one-time additional analysis, the selected analysis for the relevant plan will begin after payment is completed. Payments are processed through the payment provider designated by the operator. Before paying, check the product name, price, tax-included display, refund conditions, and purchase details shown on the payment screen.
Refunds and Cancellations
Because this is a digital service, refunds are generally not provided for analyses that have started or completed normally, user input errors, a mismatch with expectations, or the results of business decisions. Duplicate payments, an analysis not starting after payment, a material service-side failure, and paid services not provided when the service ends will be reviewed under the Refund Policy. This does not purport to limit rights provided by law.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited. - Activities that violate laws, public order and morals, third-party rights, or contractual obligations - Using another person’s account, payment method, or authentication information - Entering personal information, confidential information, trade secrets, or nonpublic information without authorization - Excessive load on this service or a third-party service, vulnerability probing, attacks, scraping, or abusive automation - Using generated results as a final legal, tax, medical, investment, employment, or credit decision without professional review - Creating fraud, misleading representations, discrimination, rights violations, spam, malware, or illegal content using AI outputs - Using the service primarily for reverse engineering, reproduction, resale, or building a competing service
Intellectual Property Rights
Rights in business ideas, materials, and text entered by the user remain with the user or the lawful rights holder. The operator may use them to the extent necessary to provide and maintain the service, maintain security, handle refunds, and improve quality. Rights in the service’s screens, programs, design, logo, wording, data structures, analysis instructions, and other elements created by the operator belong to the operator or the lawful rights holder.
Service Suspension and Changes
The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the service for maintenance, failures, security responses, third-party service outages, legal compliance, or business needs. The operator will give advance notice where possible, but emergency situations may require notice afterward. Purchase suspension, the period during which content can be viewed, export availability, and refunds when the service ends are governed by the Service Sunset Policy.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, currency, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, profitability, legal compliance, or non-infringement of third-party rights of the service or AI outputs. Even where the operator is liable, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, liability is limited to the amount the user paid during the preceding month for the paid service that directly caused the damage. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under the Consumer Contract Act or other applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
The operator may change these Terms of Use due to changes in law, changes to the service, security needs, or user protection. Material changes will be announced through the service or by another appropriate method. If you use the service after a change takes effect, you are deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms of Use.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Japan. Unless otherwise provided by law, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive agreed jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes concerning the service.
